7 Ways to Keep On Walking

This week I’m working on my business and myself.

My week is about to begin with the Women Ignite! Retreat in Stillwater, Minnesota. The retreat is being put on by Klassen Performance Group and features Dr. Heather Johnson. She’s a nationally recognized speaker and an expert in developing individuals and teams. I’m looking forward to learning a lot in two days! Of course, I’m also looking forward to sharing the highlights with you.

The retreat includes a cocktail reception tonight. Monday and Tuesday will be session filled. And, on Monday night we’ll be dining on BBQ while cruising the river on a paddleboat.

I’ll be arriving in town early and exploring the area. I’ve been told that Stillwater is a great town for relaxing by the riverfront and shopping. I’ll be taking pictures and seeking out places to recommend. Have you ever been? If so, what do you recommend?

Date Night’s Still Happening

On Monday night after the dinner cruise, Chris and I will have nightcaps together for our date night.

Making our date night tradition work takes some effort when opportunities like this come up. Chris will arrive in Stillwater with a few of his teenagers on Monday afternoon. He’ll do some exploring of the town and have dinner with them. Then, we’ll go out. Early in the morning, he and the teenagers will head out, so he can get them to all of their activities and to his office, etc. I’m one lucky lady to have a man as determined as him.

On Wednesday in Rochester, I’ll be at a REFINE meeting. Then, a friend from the group and I will be getting together for coffee. My cup will be so overflowing by midweek.

What makes your cup overflow?

I’m sure Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will fill up with work and fun. It’s just the way weeks flow, right?
