I have a confession to make. Sometimes I have resorted to using cheap, big box store facial wipes. Afterwards, I’ve applied good facial treatments and moisturizers. Yet, the result of the not-so-good stuff has been skin that itches and blemishes.
Why use facial wipes?
Please, hear me out.
- I do not want to bring washcloths to the gym. If I bring a washcloth to the gym, I have to put it in a plastic bag. Or, if I forget the plastic bag, I have to worry about wetness in my gym bag. Also, I worry about setting the washcloth down on a counter that someone has somehow contaminated, the washcloth picking that up, and then me rubbing it all over my face as I try to get the regular, better-for-me wash off of my face.
- I pay to have my hair blow combed. Getting my hair wet messes with the work done. Nobody has time for that.
- Sometimes, I am a just plain lazy human being. Some even days dressing and undressing seem like a hassle. On those days I hope for a robot revolution, so that they can help me switch from pajamas to work clothes. I mean, wouldn’t it be nice to have help with nylons? Oh, I know there are those who don’t wear nylons, but at 40, seriously – how? If you’re one of those people who can get away with that in their 40s and we’re friends, we may need to discuss some things… Well, if we’re friends, I’m sure I love you regardless.
Fantastically Bee-eautiful News for Me!
JAFRA, the skin care line that I love and most trust, has recently released cleansing and toning wipes that contain Royal Jelly, coconut water, and chamomile.
I tried my new wipes for the first time tonight and my skin feels amazing! Absolutely amazing!
What’s Royal Jelly?
It’s the goodness that is fed by the worker bees to the queen bee. According to Livestrong, “Cosmetic functions of royal jelly, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, include improving the appearance of wrinkles and stretch marks, boosting elasticity and firmness, and normalizing the fat secretions of skin glands to reduce oiliness. Royal jelly also has antibiotic and fungicidal properties.” Sounds smart, right? What I really know is that it works for my skin. I’m sharing the details, because it might work for yours too.
